Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park

About 20 miles southeast of Zion Nat'l Park this unique geologic feature of the Colorado plateau should not be missed. Camping, hiking and off road adventures may be enjoyed as well as the simple pleasure of wiggling your toes in the rust colored sand.

Horseback Riding

Canon Trail Rides offers guided horseback trips in Zion, Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Parks.

Rockhounding

The geology of Utah offers an amazing variety of possibilities to collectors. Hunt for crystals, gemstones, minerals, geodes and petrified wood and many, many fossils. Central Utah in particular offers good resources for the rockhound!

Vernal - Flaming Gorge

The Flaming Gorge area offers some of Utah's best boating, fishing, camping and backpacking. Located in northeastern Utah it includes spectacular Flaming Gorge Reservoir and parts of the Uinta Mountains and Ashley National Forest.

Temple Square, Salt Lake City

Guided tours and presentations at Temple Square feature interactive exhibits, gardens, parks, and historic sites. Also featured is the largest genealogy library of it's kind. Don't forget to inquire about rehearsals or free concerts by The Mormon Tabernacle Choir while in Salt Lake City.

The Great Salt Lake and Antelope Island State Park

The Great Salt Lake is the largest salt lake in the western hemisphere. A wealth of recreational activities are available: sunning, sailing, hiking, sunbathing, sailing. There are great viewing points on Ensign Peak at the north edge of Salt Lake City as well as in other locations. Don't miss the stunning sunsets.

Park City, Utah

A premier vacation area particularly for skiers and snowboarders. Also home of the Sundance Film Festival.
