Mall
of America
Located in Bloomington, about 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis/St
Paul. The famous Mall of America has 520 stores, 50 restaurants
and a host of attractions including Legoland, SeaLife Aquarium,
an American Girl Store and the largest indoor theme park, Nickolodeon
Universe. |

Waterpark
of America
The waterpark is located at the Mall and includes a huge slide
tower with several slides, surf simulator, lazy river for tubing,
shallow children’s area and much, much more. |

The
Metrodome
Tour the former home of the Minnesota Twins and current home
of The Vikings. Located in downtown Minneapolis. It's the third
domed facility in the US and was built in 1982. Today it remains
the only air-supported structure. |

Tank
Adventure
How about driving a former military tank? This adventure is
located in Kasota, MN about an hour and a half from the Minneapolis/St
Paul airport. You can drive the tanks and if you want to you can
cush a car! |

Riverboat Cruise
An authentic replica paddle wheeler built in 2004 departs from
Boom Island Park in the historic riverfront district of downtown
Minneapolis. Public and private cruises on the Mississippi are
available; a fun adventure in the city. |

Root
River Bike Trail
One of the first Rails to Trails paths. Try the Fountain to
Lanesboro portion for a mostly downhill run. About 60 miles of
trail are open in Bluff County, far southeastern Minnesota. In
winter, set off on your cross country skis! |

Boundary
Waters Canoe Area
Excellent canoeing and fishing located within Superior National
Forest. Many lodges and outfitters are located in Grand Marais
and Ely. |

Lake
of the Woods
Called the Walleye Capitol this international body of water touches
the state of Minnesota and the Canadian provinces of Ontario and
Manitoba. It was the most northwestern piece of the USA before
Alaska became a state. Lots of fish houses (ice fishing), guides,
accommodation and charters are available. |

Great River Road
Follow the Mississippi River from Itasca State Park in the northwest
500+ miles thru the Twin Cities and further south. The northern
section includes three historic state sites. |
