Zion National Park

Zion is the most visited of the five Utah National Parks. Easy to get to and offers a multitude of adventure opportunities. Zion offers awe-inspiring mountain grandeur. Hiking, biking, mountaineering, canyoneering naturewatching and photography - to name a few. Open all year.

Flamingo Gorge

The Flaming Gorge area offers some of Utah's best boating, fishing, camping, backpacking. The area is located in northeastern Utah, north of Vernal. It includes spectacular Flaming Gorge Reservoir and parts of the Uinta Mountains and Ashley National Forest.

Zion Lodge

Waterfalls rarely seen in summer make for some great photographs in winter. Some trails remain open and some not open to hikers in summer are available in winter. Check road conditions first.

Angels Landing

If you're looking for a thrilling hike, this is the one. It's strenuous and long (5 hours) so start early and bring sun block and water. You'll be at 5785 feet at the top. Closed in winter.

Zion Narrows

Zion is famous for its slot canyons and this is the most famous of them all. Its breathtakingly beautiful and not to be missed. Hanging gardens along the colorful walls.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park

About 20 miles southeast of Zion Nat'l Park this unique geologic feature of the Colorado plateau should not be missed. Camping, hiking and off road adventures may be enjoyed as well as the simple pleasure of wiggling your toes in the rust colored sand.
